Your Day Master is the single character that anchors a Korean saju (four pillars) chart. Enter your birth details and see yours — free, no email, no signup.
Your full chart has four pillars — year, month, day and hour. The free reading walks through all of them and tells you what they say about timing, not just personality.
Get my free reading →A saju chart has eight characters — a heavenly stem and an earthly branch for the year, month, day and hour of birth. The stem sitting over your day of birth is the Day Master. In Korean and Chinese practice it stands for you: the rest of the chart is read as what surrounds it, supports it, or drains it.
The twelve you may have seen are the zodiac animals, which come from the branches. The Day Master comes from the ten stems — five elements in a yang and a yin form each: Yang Wood, Yin Wood, Yang Fire, Yin Fire, and so on.
Not for the Day Master itself, unless you were born very close to midnight. It matters a great deal for the hour pillar and for timing. If you don't know your time, tick the box and we use noon.
