We collect your email, your name or nickname, your birth date/time/place-timezone, and anything you type in the optional "what's worrying you" box. We need that to calculate and write your reading.
Your birth details and your worry text are sent to Google's Gemini API — a third party — so the reading can be written. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card number. Emails go out through Resend.
We do not sell your data for money. We may share limited advertising identifiers with Meta and TikTok through their pixels — under California law that counts as "sharing", and you can turn it off (see Do Not Sell or Share).
Want your data deleted? Email support@inyeonsaju.com and we'll do it. No account or hoop-jumping.
This policy explains how CHO&STORY PTE. LTD. ("Inyeon Saju", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use inyeonsaju.com or buy a reading. It applies to everyone, and it includes extra sections for California residents and for visitors in the EU/EEA and UK.
Inyeon Saju is an adults-only service. Do not use it if you are under 18.

We never receive your full card number, CVC, or card expiry. Those go directly to Stripe.
Sensitive information. A free-text worry may contain health, relationship, financial, or other sensitive details — that's up to you. Please don't type anything you wouldn't want processed by us and by our AI provider. Never enter medical record numbers, government ID numbers, or passwords.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, we rely on these legal bases under GDPR / UK GDPR:
Where a worry field or partner data reveals special-category information, we rely on your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)) — given by choosing to type it in — and you can withdraw it by asking us to delete it.
Outside the EU/UK we process this information to provide the service you requested, with your consent, and for our legitimate business interests as described above.
To write your reading, we send the calculated chart data, your name or nickname, your birth date/time/timezone, your optional worry text, and (for compatibility readings) your partner's birth details to the Google Gemini API, operated by Google LLC / Google Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.
This means a third party processes that information on our instruction. Google's handling of paid API data is governed by their API terms and data processing terms; as of this policy's date, Google states that data submitted through the paid Gemini API is not used to train their general models. We do not control Google's systems, and we can't guarantee their practices.
The reading that comes back is written by an AI model. It can be wrong, generic, or oddly phrased. It is entertainment, not advice. See our Terms of Service.
If you don't want your information processed by an AI provider, please don't use Inyeon Saju — there is no way to produce the reading without it.
We do not use your personal data to train our own AI models. We may look at anonymised or aggregated patterns (for example, "how many people ask about career") to improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us run Inyeon Saju, and only with what they need:

We never send your worry text, your birth details, or the content of your reading to Meta or TikTok. Pixels receive browsing and purchase events, not reading content.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to (a court order, lawful request from an authority), to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business — in which case we'll tell you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.

Opting out of pixels does not stop you from buying a reading and does not change what you get.

If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it sooner — except for the minimum transaction records we're legally required to keep.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email support@inyeonsaju.com from the email address you used on the order. Put "Privacy request" in the subject line and tell us what you want.
We reply within 30 days (45 days for California requests, extendable once with notice; one month for GDPR requests, extendable by two months for complex cases). It's free. We may ask a question or two to confirm you're the right person — usually just confirming an order detail. We won't make you create an account.
Deleting your data means we can no longer retrieve past readings for you. Save anything you want to keep first.
You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we'll ask for proof of authorisation. We will never discriminate against you — deny service, charge a different price, or give a worse reading — for exercising these rights.

Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (email, IP, referral/device IDs); customer records (name/nickname); commercial information (purchases); internet activity (pages viewed, referrer); geolocation inferred at country level from IP; sensitive personal information where you voluntarily include it in the worry field; inferences drawn from your birth chart to write the reading. Sources and purposes are in Section 2. Disclosures are in Section 5.
We have not sold personal information for money in the last 12 months. Our use of Meta and TikTok pixels may qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. To do so, do any one of the following:
Opting out will not change your price, your reading, or your access to anything.
California's "Shine the Light" law: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Inyeon Saju is aimed at customers in the United States, but if you're in the EU/EEA or UK and use the service, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent at any time (which doesn't affect processing done before you withdrew it).
You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling for marketing.
Automated processing. Your reading is generated automatically by AI. It is entertainment content and has no legal or similarly significant effect on you, so it is not "automated decision-making" of the kind restricted under Art. 22. If you'd like a human at Inyeon Saju to look at a reading you're unhappy with, just email us.
Complaints. Contact us first at support@inyeonsaju.com. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
CHO&STORY PTE. LTD. is based in Singapore. Our service providers — Stripe, Google, Resend, Meta, TikTok, and our hosting provider — operate servers in the United States, the European Union, Singapore, and elsewhere. That means your information will be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, and those countries may have different data protection laws.
Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) in our contracts with providers, or a provider's certification under an approved framework. As a Singapore company we also handle personal data in line with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). You can ask us for more detail about the safeguards used.
We use HTTPS/TLS everywhere, restrict who can reach our database, keep API keys out of the browser, and hold payment card handling entirely at Stripe so card data never touches our servers. Private "Find my reading" links are random and expire quickly.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data and creates a real risk to you, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Inyeon Saju is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or teenagers under 18. If we discover we have, we delete it promptly and refund any payment. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has used the service should email support@inyeonsaju.com.
Compatibility readings need another person's birth details. Only enter them if it's reasonable for you to do so and you believe that person wouldn't object. We treat that data the same way we treat yours, keep it only as long as the reading it belongs to, and never contact that person. If someone asks us to delete birth data that you entered about them, we will.
We email you your reading, receipt, and any private link you request — these are transactional and you can't unsubscribe from them while you have an active order. Any promotional email is optional; every one carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
We'll update this page when our practices change, and the "Last updated" date at the top will change with it. For significant changes we'll post a notice on the site. Please check back occasionally.
